Our Story

A bakery rooted in the Rocky Mountain soil

High Altitude Hops Farm began when a home kitchen and a stubborn sourdough starter became something bigger. Twelve years later, that starter — still alive, still fed every morning — is the heart of everything we bake.

We mill our own flour from Colorado-grown heritage wheats. We source eggs from pastured flocks in Douglas County. Our cheese case rotates with whatever the season offers from neighboring farms. You'll never find an ingredient here that couldn't be traced to a specific field or producer.

The shop on Estates Circle is where the baking happens and where the community gathers. Come for the bread. Stay for the conversation.

what we bake

Our menu shifts with the seasons — wild ramps in spring, stone fruit in summer, mushrooms and squash in fall. The grocery shelf follows the same rhythm, showcasing producers at their peak.
